Our Mission is to expand the ministry of Jesus’ Church by WORSHIPING God, both privately and corporately.

We experience revival as the gospel is proclaimed with power, conviction, salvation, deliverance, and healing. We lead in OUTREACH by sharing the liberating gospel through our work in serving others. We care for the social, economic, physical, and spiritual needs of both members and non-members. We are restored to loving RELATIONSHIPS with God, and each other, by loving God with our whole heart, soul and mind. We build unity with one another, as we experience the power of forgiveness and we accept the great commission to engage in DISCIPLESHIP with ALL PEOPLE.

At St. Joseph AME Church, we believe ALL PEOPLE are God’s children, regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, economic status or educational background.
