Kitchen Ministry
The St. Joseph Kitchen Ministry has been joyfully ministering to the hearts, souls and "appetites" of congregants and church guests for over 65 years. Initially, purposed to minister to bereaved families of members by extending hospitality and solace through compassionately prepared repasts, the Kitchen committee has, over the years, expanded their mission. Since the mid 80's, the Kitchen Ministry has been under the servant leadership of Sister Ruth Clark. The Kitchen Ministry offers the love of Christ through carefully planned and delish prepared meals, snacks and/or refreshments in support of and in coordination with other church auxiliary special events, meetings, gatherings and repasts. In addition, the Kitchen Ministry has assisted with receptions for graduations, receptions and other celebrations for members and other individuals within the community upon request. The Kitchen Ministry takes great pride in providing a warm, welcoming and hospitable environment to all who "gather around the table."
